These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of fakeorlegit.io and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Aura Bionics Inc. (“we”, “our”, “us”), a company incorporated in the Province of Ontario, Canada. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

FakeOrLegit is an automated scam-risk analysis tool. It produces a risk score and a written report based on heuristic checks and an AI risk model. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

2. No guarantee of safety

The Service provides risk signals, not guarantees. A Low risk score does not prove a site or message is safe. A Critical score does not prove malicious intent. You are responsible for your own decisions about whether to click links, share information, or send payments.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person or organization.
• Submit content that violates third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service, including via automated scraping or rate-limit evasion.
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.

4. Brand references

References to companies, products, or government agencies in guides or risk reports are made for educational and consumer-safety purposes only. FakeOrLegit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the brands referenced on the Service.

5. Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links to security tools (such as password managers or identity-monitoring services) are affiliate links. If you sign up for one of these products through our link, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Our analysis is the same whether or not you use any of these tools.

6. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any risk signal is accurate or complete.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aura Bionics Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, except where such jurisdiction is prohibited by applicable consumer-protection law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
